Johnnie E Douglas, Richmond, was born in Fairfield Alabama, to parents Walter and Laura Douglas. The Youngest of three sons, Johnnie retired after working 30 years from Dana Corp Plant 6. He was a Vice President and life time member of the NAACP (Richmond chapter), Former Commander of the American Legion #359, Former leader of Elks Lodge # 479 and a former Wayne/Randolph County U.A.W C.A.P Council-Del. He was a member of Gateway Church where he enjoyed working at the Gateway food Pantry. Johnnie loved watching Football and Baseball.
Johnnie is survived by his children two daughters and a son, Chrisandra (Dennis) Bronston, Nicolet (Louis) Edwards, Edward C Douglas (Special friend Marilyn), His step Children Charonda Lewis, Thoresa Lewis, Judith Lewis, Yvonne (Charles) Brown, Mita (Leo) Lee, five grandchildren, Derrick (Shelby) Douglas, Damon Douglas (Fiancee Amber), Demetria Douglas, Darian D (Tamera) Edwards and John D Bronston (Frank), Great Grandchildren Taylor Edwards, Alex Douglas, Brikayla Douglas, Dayana Douglas and Deshon Douglas.
Johnnie is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Laura (Stone) Douglas, Son David Douglas, Wife Sharon Douglas, Granddaughters, Stacia Bronston, Traci Edwards, Brothers William Douglas and Donald Douglas.

Calling will be held at Community Family Funeral Home on Thursday March 24, 2022 from 10am to 12pm, with a graveside service to immediately follow at Earlham Cemetery.
