John Robert “Bobby” Clark, 76, of Connersville went home to be with the Lord Tuesday afternoon, December 13, 2022 at St. Francis Hospice, Indianapolis.
The son of Chester and Melva Harrison Clark, Bobby was born on July 14, 1946 in Connersville, Indiana.
On September 16, 1972, Bobby married the former Brenda Kay Brewer. Mrs. Clark passed away on May 28, 2015.
Bobby was a member of 10th Street Full Gospel Holiness Church and was employed at Custom Extrusion for 35 years.
In his leisure, he enjoyed skeet shooting, hunting, and fishing.
A loving, gentle soul, Bobby was always willing to help others. He will always be remembered for his kind, generous nature.
Survivors include a daughter, Angela Kay Clark (companion Larry Marshall, Jr.) of Rushville; eight grandchildren, Sarah Werner, Emily (Jonah) Struewing, Michael Werner, Ashley Werner, Austin Clark, Chance Clark (companion Lexi Gibbs), Taylor Marshall, and Dylan Marshall; five great grandchildren, Lillee Shaul, Ariya Clark, Willow Struewing, Rowan Marshall, and Callie Flannery; son-in-law, Dan Werner of Connersville; four siblings, Diana Cox of College Corner, Ohio, Chester Clark, Jr. and Gloria Clark, both of Connersville, and Charles “Chuck” (Tanya) Clark of Everton; a sister-in-law, Patty Clark of Connersville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Bobby was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Brenda Clark; his parents; a daughter, Sherry Werner who passed March 24, 2020; a brother, Mark Clark; and a brother-in-law, Eugene Cox.
Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Hensley officiating. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
