Jeannette “Jenny” I. Swoveland, 65, of Farmland, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Reid Health, Richmond. She was born on January 22, 1956, in Richmond, to William Carl Holliday and Gloria Lou (Gingry) Holliday.
Jenny married James Robert (Bob) Swoveland on December 13, 1982. She loved doing crafts and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband; 4 daughters, Angela (Kevin) King, Kimberly (Ronnie) Brake, Becky Smitley and Holly Sparks; 9 grandchildren, Hannah (Gage) King, Quentin (Macy) King, Jordan (Leann) King, Ronnie (McKayla) Brake, Earon (Amanda) Brake, Isabella Sparks, Rosalie Sparks, Noah Smitley and Levi Smitley; 8 great-grandchildren, Emma Pemberton, Ellie Pemberton, Waylon Pemberton, Elana King, Destiny Brake, Haven Brake, Zairah Brake and Addison Brake; 2 sisters; 5 brothers; and, several nieces and nephews.
Jenny was proceeded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Emma Holliday; and, a great-grandson, Jay King.
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. to 12 noon on Friday, January 7, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 12 noon, with Pastor Stephen Connor officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
