Emma Jane Owens 86 of Richmond died August 21, 2022, at Golden Rule Living Center. She was born May 28. 1936 in Rockcastle County, Kentucky to William and Emma Jane Mullin. She worked as a seamstress at the Richmond Glove Company and provided in-home babysitting.
She loved her family and is survived by four grandchildren Amber Jane Smith, Samantha Jean Owens, Shane Anthony Alexander, and Zachary Vincent Owens, and one great-grandson Xander Anthony James Alexander. her husband Franklin D. “Hoobie” Owens died in 2020.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Holman officiating. Private burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared with the family via the guest book at stegallberheideorr.com.
