Edwin L. “Eddie” Jones, age 88, of Centerville, Indiana, died Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Reid Health.
Born October 18, 1933, in Centerville, Indiana, to Charles D. and Martha E. Trouse Jones, Eddie was a life-long resident of this community. He worked in the trucking industry.
Survivors include his children, Debbi Hamilton, David Jones, Jeff Jones, all of Richmond and Brad Jones of Centerville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Sheila Jones of Alexander City, Alabama, and Reba Lake of Centerville; and brother, Denny Jones of Centerville.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Sonya R. Jones, who died December 22, 2012; great-granddaughter; parents; and brother, Terry Jones.
There will be no public services for Edwin L. “Eddie” Jones. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
