Denise Ann Dudley, 72, of Connersville, went home to be with her parents and the Lord, April 4, 2022 at Reid Health, Richmond.
She was born December 19, 1949 in Connersville, Indiana, the eldest of four children of Ted and Joan Dudley. She graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1968. After graduation, she lived in Illinois, Mississippi, Nevada, and South Dakota, returning to her hometown of Connersville for residence in the late 1970’s. In recent years, she was a resident of Caroleton Healthcare Center.
Denise was a loving daughter and sister. She was a member of Western Avenue Baptist Church.
She enjoyed spending time with family and was an avid lover of all animals. She especially loved dogs; Pekingese were her favorite. She loved music, dancing, and boating on Brookville Lake when her health permitted. She also like collecting stuffed animals and doing wordsearch books in her leisure time. She loved her family most of all and was devoted to them.
Survivors include her brother, Bruce (Ginger) Dudley and sister, Michele (Eric Cantrell) Dudley, both of Connersville, Indiana; a niece, Deanna Dudley of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; a great niece, Hannah (Chris) Reynolds of Connersville; two great nephews, Adam Jarrett of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Alan Jarrett of Connersville; aunts, Rita (Danny) Clark of Connersville and Pat Jacobs of Denver, Colorado; and a number of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Renee Jarrett; sister-in-law, Joanna Dudley; and nephews, Shane Dudley and Chris Jarrett.
Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Burial will be at Laurel North Cemetery.
