David C. White, 79, a former Hagerstown resident, died Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Carmel Health and Living Center where he had recently resided.
He was born in New Castle on August 25, 1942 to Robert and Ruth (Miller) White. He lived several years in Crossville, TN and had been in the McCordsville area for the past 10 years. He was a retired employee of Perfect Circle / Dana Corp. He enjoyed spending time with his dog, Harley, working in has yard and Purdue basketball.
Survivors include his wife, to whom he was married on December 21, 1963, Linda (Conder) White; 2 children, David S. White (Marilyn) and Lisa A. Preston; 4 grandchildren, Charlotte White, Christina White, Jessica Yost (Michael) and Dallas Preston; 4 great-grandchildren, Kingzly Yost, Kalanti Yost, Kamilla Yost and Kasoul Yost; a brother, Steve White, and a sister, Ginger Hetisiemer.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey White.
Visitation will be 3 to 5 PM on Tuesday, February 15, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 5:00 PM. Pastor Rick Alvey will officiate.
