David Allen Noelker, age 77, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2022 at Reid Health. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on May 10, 1945 to Earl and Helen Noelker.
Out of high school David worked for Natco for 10 years and then Belden for 42 years, where he retired. He was married to Brenda York and together they spent 55 wonderful years of marriage before her passing in 2018. David loved music, and played in a band from 1963-2011 (Soulfinders, The Trojans and Three’s A Crowd). David was a member at Holy Family Catholic Church and enjoyed target shooting, camping, boating, water skiing and table tennis-placing 2nd in US Open. He loved his pets, both indoor pets and outdoor wildlife, always feeding them. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Cheryl (Bill) Bechtel and Mike (Nancy) Noelker; sister Vicky Borden and step-sister Sandy Jaynes; grandchildren Ashley Farley, Cory (Brandi) Noelker, Brandon (Shannon) Shaeff and Sydney (Brandon) Jackson; 7 great-grandchildren with one on the way. He also leaves behind his special girlfriend Cris Armstrong. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his wife Brenda, 2 great-granddaughters, 1 brother, 2 sisters and 1 step-sister.
Services for David will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday September 9, 2022 at Riggle-Waltermann Mortuary, with a visitation from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
