Darrell John Skaggs, 80 of Centerville, IN passed away on Jan. 06, 2022.
He was born to Bennett Harlen Skaggs and Mabel Josephine Bickett-Skaggs on April 27, 1941.
He attended Richmond High School.
Darrell worked as owner/operator of Darrell’s Garage in Milton, IN. He retired from Darrell’s Garage in 2007.
Darrell was an avid racecar fan and driver, he also enjoyed mechanicing as well as farming and occasionally fishing. He received numerous trophies for racing over the years. He was well known and loved by many. He will forever be sadly missed.
His significant other was Marcella Flannery. They spent the last 36 wonderful years together. They met and got together in 1986.
Darrell is survived by 1 son Daryl (John) Skaggs of Pershing, IN and 1 daughter Rhonda Skaggs of Cambridge City, IN, 1 brother Don (Marsha) Skaggs of Fort Myers, Florida, 2 sisters, Vanda Wilson of Martinsville, IN and Anita (Lee) Oliver of Clearwater, Florida.
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents Bennett and Mabel Skaggs, a daughter, Sharon Sidwell and a brother Dickie Skaggs.
There will be no funeral services for Darrell at his request.
