Claudette M. Wissler, age 85, of Richmond, Indiana, died Monday, January 17, 2022, at Reid Health.

Born February 10, 1936, in Connersville, Indiana, to Carter and Bernice Selke Cash, Claudette lived in Wayne County, Indiana, most of her life. She graduated from Connersville High School in 1954. Claudette was the office manager for Dr. James Lewis for over 30 years. She was a member of the former Trinity United Methodist Church. Claudette was also a member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA), American Association of Medical Assistants (AMAA), and the Eastern Star. She was an avid reader of Danielle Steel books and enjoyed watching IU and Purdue basketball and playing Mrs. Claus at the Roehler’s Christmas Tree Farms. Claudette loved life, especially participating in adventurous activities. More than anything, she loved her family.

Survivors include her children, Gary (Roberta) Wissler of Cambridge City, Indiana, and Ginny (Scott) Roehler of Centerville, Indiana; grandchildren, Sandy Barrett, Sara Cook, and Kyle and Tyler Roehler; four great-grandchildren; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Sydney Wissler, who died February 12, 1997; father; and mother and stepfather, Bernice and Howard Hill.

There will be a private visitation and funeral service for Claudette M. Wissler. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
