Charlie B. Satterfield, age 92, passed away at Reid Health on January 25, 2022. He was born February 15, 1929, the son of Edward and Hattie Satterfield, in Dickson, Tennessee.
Charlie was a resident of Richmond, Indiana. He was employed for 35 years at Alcoa. His hobbies included bowling and softball and other interests were motorcycles and cars.
He leaves to cherish his memory, children: Geneva Hurd, Rosemary Vanlandingham (Mike) and Princilla Satterfield (Joe Orput); grandchildren: Dion Sparks, Alea Washington, Korri Rice, Kareem Hurd, JonQuita Rice, Michael Vanlandingham, Meagan Vanlandingham and Kia Fox; 14 great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren; sister: Corine Farris; brother: Lynn Satterfield; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends; and a longtime family friend, Ellen Rice.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother: Edward and Hattie Satterfield; his wife of 50 years: Christine Satterfield; son: Charles B. Satterfield; granddaughters: Mindi Rice Kenerly and Jasmine Hurd; one sister and nine brothers.
