Charles “Sonie” Moody, Jr., age 69, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away April 24, 2022.
He was born January 20, 1953, in Richmond, Indiana, to Lois E. Lewis and Charles Moody, Sr.
Sonie was a self-made man. He lived a large and boisterous life. He either loved you or not. He made his own path and most times he marched to his own drum, whether you agreed with it or not. You could say he lived life his own way. He was one of a kind.
He was preceded in death by Charles Moody, Sr. (father), Finley “Joe” Webster (brother) and Hannah Moody (daughter) he loved but never experienced life; she died at birth.
He is survived by his mother: Lois E. Lewis; Tonni Moody (wife 23 years); four sons: James Moody, Sr., David Moody (Angela), Gary Moody and William Moody; three sisters: Garnet Wysong (Bob), Patty Starnes and Jolene Webster (Thomas Edgar); and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
