Carole Ann Powell, age 79, passed away at Forest Park Health Campus on February 19, 2022. She was born December 21, 1942, the daughter of Howard and Evelyn Montgomery, in Lower Burrell, Pennsylvania.
Carole had worked at J.C. Penney’s. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids. Carole’s most favorite thing to do was listening to Aerosmith, playing video games, working crossword puzzles and watching movies.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children; two daughters and one son: Laurie and Kelly Railsback, Fountain City, IN, David Shawn and Kim Powell, New Madison, OH, and Dawn and Scott Lambert, New Paris, Ohio; nine grandchildren: Courtney Cain, Jesse Cain, Devon Powell, Jason Lawson, Matt Lawson, Angel Lawson, Jonathan Railsback, Matthew Railsback, Tristan Butler and Trinity Thomas; 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by aunts and uncles and a special friend, Don Hollingsworth.
