Arville “Jack” Isaac, age 77, of Centerville, Indiana, passed away peacefully with loved ones by his side on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Reid Health. Born November 17, 1944, in Jellico, Tennessee, to Walter and Linda Allen Isaac, Jack spent most of his childhood “down home” before moving to Richmond as a teenager. Jack and Sandra Kay Musselman Isaac were married on June 5, 1975 and enjoyed 47 years of marriage.
He worked at Wayne Bus for over 23 years as an upholsterer. Jack loved to fish and work in his garden. He was a faithful member of Living Faith Church of God and loved his church family very much.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kay Isaac; children, Melissa Isaac (Kevin Kemplen) of Lynn, Indiana, and Joe (Amber) Isaac of Centerville; grandchildren, Kaiden, Kimber, Chloe, Zoey, Taylor, Kira, and Kaylee; brother, Charlie (Lois Marie) Isaac; great-niece, Jennifer Luce; great-nephew, John Luce; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Brenda Luce; nephew, Larry Isaac; and three very special friends, Tom Stubblefield, Ronnie Robinson, and Russell Clark; and nephew, Larry Isaac. Jack fought a very brave battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for 15 years, but he stood the tests of faith until the Lord called him home. According to Jack’s wishes there will be no public services.
