Wilma J. Waltz, 92, of Cambridge City, passed away on January 1, 2021 at Ball Memorial Hospital.  She was born on March 2, 1928 in Knox County, Kentucky to Lester and Rachel (Elam) Cheek and lived most of her life in this area.  Wilma retired after working over 30 years at Dana as a machinist.

She was a member of Milton Christian Church and also very active member of The Order of Eastern Star New Castle #116, where see held many offices including serving several terms as Worthy Matron.

Wilma is survived by sisters, Alma Kanaga and Mary Alice Stewart; a brother, Wilbur Cheek; and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Waltz in 1987; three brothers Eugene, Louis and Russell Cheek.

A public calling will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel from 5 until 7 pm, with an Eastern Star service at 6:45 pm.  Due to Covid restrictions you are asked to keep your time and conversations limited.  A private family only service will be held on Thursday and internment will follow at Mooreland Cemetery in Mooreland, Indiana.
