SSG Sean D Terry, age 42, passed away in his home in New Paris, OH on July 5, 2021. After attending Richmond High School, he graduated in 1997 and enlisted in the US Army. Serving two tours of duty oversees he was awarded multiple commendations, National Defense, Global War on Terrorism, and Iraq Campaign medals, as well as multiple service badges. Serving in the military for 11 years he was honorably discharged and went on to attend South Florida State College. He is survived by his sisters, Yvette L. Hampton and Antoinette L. Hampton and his brothers, Cory Terry and Brian Terry as well as his niece and nephew and many close friends. Funeral services will take place at Community Family Funeral Home on August 7 at 12 pm. Family and friends my call Saturday at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.  Those wishing to honor his life can make a donation in his name to Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
