Shawn Allen Leonard, age 44, of Richmond, Indiana, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Reid Health.
Born May 11, 1977, in Richmond, Indiana, to Susan Lehman, Shawn was a life-long resident of this community. He worked as a machinist at Silfex, Inc. in Eaton, Ohio. Shawn loved flying radio-controlled airplanes and was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics. He also enjoyed driving lowrider cars and attending car shows.
Survivors include his daughter, Megan Huff; grandsons, Carson and Aiden; mother, Susan Lehman; aunts, Karen Vanderpool and Sharon (Frank) Inderstrodt; uncle, Randall (Vickie) Leonard; cousins; and many friends, including his girlfriend, Seleenah Walker.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wallace and June Leonard; aunt, Kandice Clark; uncle, Guy Vanderpool; and cousin, Randy Leonard.
Funeral service for Shawn Allen Leonard will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 23, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond with his cousin, Stephanie Toschlog, officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
