Sandra Lynne (Waltz) Huddleston, 74, formally of Hagerstown, IN., left her earthly body on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at the home of her daughter Amber Huddleston of Atlanta, GA., with whom she had been residing the last few years due to failing health. Born December 28, 1946 to the late Ralph H. and Eleneida R. (Craig) Waltz of Hagerstown.
Sandy was Salutatorian of her graduating class of 1964. She attended Indiana State College in Terra Haute, IN., but returned home upon her father’s death. She worked several jobs in the Hagerstown and Richmond, IN. area. Sandy always stayed on top of all current events around the world and if she did not know something, always researched the subject. She was a huge fan of NASCAR Racing and no one dare call her when the races were on. Sandy will be missed by her family and many friends with whom she stayed in touch with on Social Media.
She is survived by her children Heather (David Martin) Huddleston, Orlando, FL., Amber Huddleston, Atlanta, GA., William Sikes, former daughter in law, Valerie Sikes, Richmond, IN. Grandchildren Corey (Cayla) Thomas, Orlando, FL., Dezzy, Thomas Sikes, Michael, Dasia Smith, Dennis Murray, James Hall, Tranae Williams, Richmond, IN., Kalea and Arik Martin, Orlando, FL. Great Grandchildren Adawnna, Jude and Silas Thomas, Orlando, Fl. A brother Roger Waltz, Milford. MI., two sisters Kathleen (Michael) Davis, Richmond, IN., Jennifer (Mark) Mendenhall, Economy, IN., Aunt Rhea Jean McDaniel, Minneapolis, MN., Uncle Ray Craig, Phoenix, AZ, several nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Huddleston; a grandson, Brent Huddleston; brothers and sisters in law, Ralph H. Waltz Jr., Fred (Faye) Waltz, William (Betty) Waltz; sister in law Maria Waltz; nephews James and John Waltz and an Aunt, Berniece Craig.
Sandy’s final wishes of no public calling or service will be honored.
