Robert “Hobbs” D. Webster, age 51, of Indianapolis, passed away at I.U. Health Methodist Hospital, on March 14, 2021. He was born June 13, 1969, the son of Yvonne Webster White and Fred Scott in Richmond, Indiana

Robert had lived in Wayne County most of his life and was a graduate of Richmond High School. He was raised by his granny, Cordelia Webster and his granddaddy, Marzel Webster who he also called daddy.

At the young age of 4, he began helping his grandpa run The Barbeque Heaven. Robert loved to cook and caterer.

He had worked at Fed Ex, UPS and most recently until his passing, was a caregiver to his father figure, Ezzard Charles Walker. Robert loved to fish, make people laugh and he enjoyed watching sports. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his children: Anthony Webster, Antannia Taylor and Artemis Taylor; granddaughter: Dreanna Taylor; mother: Yvonne Webster White; father figure: Ezzard Charles Walker; father: Fred Scott (Sue); four sisters: Juanita Scott, Tonya Walker, Nedra Walker and Necie Walker; two brothers: Charles Webster and Fred Scott Jr; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins aunts and uncles. He also leaves special cousins: Lovelya Copeland, Trustin Webster and Bill Webster.

He is preceded in death by his fiancé: Niqui Mccown; grandparents: Marzell and Cordelia Webster and Martha Pope; stepfather: Larren White; and aunt: Marcia Williams.

Funeral services will be held at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Terry Gibson officiating.
