Rebecca Sue “Becky” Railsback, age 76, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Reid Health.

Born July 24, 1944, in Richmond, Indiana, to Elmer and June Marie Jenkins Williamson, Becky grew up in Lewisville, Indiana, where she was a 1962 graduate of Lewisville High School. Becky was a beautician, who owned and operated Rebecca’s House of Hair Styling out of her home for 30 years. She was a member of New Testament Church of Christ in Hagerstown, Indiana. Becky enjoyed watching criminal shows and basketball and football games, especially the Indianapolis Colts. She was a loving mother, whose sweet voice and cute laugh could make you laugh even when you were not in the mood. Becky loved every moment she got to spend with her granddaughter, Heavin. She also loved her husband, Marvin, dearly. When he died a piece of Becky died, too, causing her to stop fighting.

Survivors include her daughter, Malinda J. Railsback of Richmond; granddaughter, Heavin Lynn Marie Railsback of Richmond; sister, Mary Ann (Tony) Hickman of Lewisville, Indiana; brother, Ted Williamson of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends, including special friend, Victoria Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Marvin Roth Railsback, who died November 4, 2017; parents; sisters, Linda Brown and Helen Jean Williamson; and brother, Bill Williamson.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, services for Rebecca Sue “Becky” Railsback will be private with Pastor Paul Gearhardt officiating. The funeral service will be livestreamed at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 7, 2020, on the Doan & Mills website. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
