DUBLIN–  Following a hard fought battle with lung cancer, Nancy Lynne Todd, 69, of Dublin, Indiana passed away early Saturday morning August 28, 2021 in the comfort of her home while surrounded by her family.  Nancy was a true warrior and has faced and conquered many hard challenges throughout her life, including breast cancer.  Born in New Castle, Indiana on May 27, 1952, Nancy spent most of her life in the Cambridge City and Dublin communities.  As a proud “Army Wife”, she did her fair share of traveling.  She and her family have lived in Alaska, Germany and Washington for some time.  Nancy was previously employed by the Western Wayne School Corporation as a computer instructor.  She and her husband, George, owned and operated Cambridge City’s local restaurant, Lumpy’s Cafe for eleven years until their retirement.  Nancy enjoyed spending her time outside in the sun, whether she was doing yard work, watching her grandchildren’s sporting events or just reading one of her books.  Nancy also enjoyed gardening and took pride in how her yard was kept.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 50 years, George Todd; 2 daughters, Angie (Rick) Dixon and Trisha (Jimmy Clayton) Todd; 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Hallie and Wesley Dixon, Ashley (Brennen King) Clayton, Tori Todd and Ryan Clayton and; 3 sisters, Debbie (Dick) Hamm, Janet (David) Sweet and Susan (Jim) Peckinpaugh; sister and brother in-law, Grace and Mike Goodman; sister in-law, Sue Ann Darter; many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Lee Copeland; in-laws, Mary June and Leon Todd; brother in-laws, Jerry Todd and Donn Darter; infant niece, Allison; infant nephew, Robby.

Nancy was her family’s biggest supporter and always was sure to be the last to say “Love You More” to each and every one of them.

At Nancy’s request a private funeral service will be held at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Burial will be at Zion’s Lutheran Cemetery in Pershing.
