Mildred Viola Nelson, 99, died on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Parker Health Care.
She was born in Muncie on November 5, 1921 to Harlow and Rena (Fox) Hoskinson. She was a retired employee of Zayre Corporation.
Survivors include 2 children, Charles (Cheryl) Wilson and Joyce (Larry) Leffew; 6 grandchildren, Malissa (Michael) Morguson, David (Jen) Wilson, Aaron Wilson, Brandi (Shawn) Larsen, Craig Leffew and Harry Blake; 9 great-grandchildren, Macy (Eli) Carlson, Katie Morguson, Emma Morguson, Sadie Morguson, Jasmine Larsen, Cole (Malorie) Larsen, Meridian Leffew, Kaya Wilson and Jace Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Wilson and Norris Nelson; a daughter, Janet Puckett; a son, Jerry Wilson and 2 granddaughters, Donna Puckett-Blake and Amber Leffew.
Visitation will be 12 to 2 PM on Friday, October 1, at Losantville United Methodist Church. Services will follow at 2 PM. Pastor Maureen Walby will officiate. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory.
