Marvin Leroy Hunter, 86, of Connersville, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 17, 2021 at his home.
He was born January 15, 1935 in Franklin County, Indiana to William and Etta Smith Hunter.
On April 12, 1990, Marvin married Barbara J. Fultz at the First Baptist Church in Connersville. Mrs. Hunter survives.
Marvin was a school bus driver for the Fayette County School Corporation for over twenty years. Along with his wife, he attended Connersville Baptist Temple. He was also a member of Warren Masonic Lodge in 1979.
In his leisure, he enjoyed camping and exploring caves.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Barbara J. Hunter; a son, Mark (Jenna) Hunter of Madison, Mississippi; a daughter, Gretchen Hunter of Greenfield, Indiana; two step-sons, Douglas (Lisa) Levi of Connersville and Garry (Kristi) Levi of Hagerstown; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Mel Hunter and Keith Hunter, both of Nashville, Tennessee; a sister, Wanda Day of Memphis, Tennessee; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Fred Hunter.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2021 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Pastor Rob Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville.
