Marilyn L. Gray, age 71, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Forest Park Health Campus, surrounded by her daughters.
Marilyn was born August 2, 1949, in Richmond, Indiana, to Warren and Freida Berry Gray. She lived and worked in Wayne County, Indiana, most of her life, retiring from Reid Hospital. Marilyn enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Cincinnati Reds.
Marilyn will be fondly remembered by her daughters, Gia (Dan) Stapleton and Heather (Vertis) Graham. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Hopkins; parents; two brothers; and beloved cat, Missy.
The family would like to thank The Springs of Richmond and Forest Park Health Campus for their compassionate care.
There will be no public services, per Marilyn’s request. A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be announced by the family at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
