Margaret L Robbins, 88, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida.
She was born in Richmond IN on December 9, 1932, and the daughter of the late LeRoy and Effie (Burdine) Ellis and was the widow of Kirby J. Robbins of 48 years, who died January 5, 2018. Margaret graduated from Richmond High School in 1951and worked at Wayne Bus Company, Perfect Circle, and in the Insurance industry. She was an avid bowler and loved working on crossword puzzles.
Survivors include two daughters Betty (Mike) Drudy of Jacksonville, FL and Nancy (Mike) Malicoat of Avon, IN and one son Terry (Kathy) Lee of The Villages, FL, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, 2 brothers Robert Ellis of The Villages, FL and Ronald (Sally) Ellis of Richmond, IN, and nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter Nicole (Wade) Deaton, one great-grandchild Melissa Runnels, one brother Dr. James (Leda) Ellis, and two sisters Janet (Gene) Newman and Carolyn Ellis.
A graveside celebration of life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at Earlham Cemetery, 1101 National Road West, Richmond, IN with Martin Holman officiating.
