Lois Suzanne Brooks, age 81, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, December 24, 2021, at Reid Health.
Suzanne was born on September 11, 1940, in Huntington, West Virginia, to Colonel H.O. and Lois Christine Vernon Webb Jr. She received an associate degree from Marshall University in Huntington. Suzanne worked at JC Penney in Richmond and Normandy Flower Shop, Inc. in Muncie, Indiana. She loved animals and enjoyed cross stitching and gardening.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, David Brooks; children, William Kevin (Melodie) Brooks, Deborah (Joseph) Douglas, and Donald Joseph (Lauren) Brooks; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth David Brooks; grandsons, J.D. and Justin Douglas; and parents.
Memorial gathering for Suzanne Brooks will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
