Linda Lou Hughes, age 75, of Centerville, Indiana, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Ambassador Healthcare.

Born October 30, 1945, in Santa Ana, California, to William and Hazel Heithaus Replogle, Linda was a life-long resident of Wayne County, Indiana. She was a school bus driver for Centerville-Abington Schools for 40 years. Linda served as a volunteer at Reid Health and Help The Animals, Inc. She was a longtime member of the Calico Cooks Homemaker’s Club. Linda was a very caring lady, who was always considerate of the needs of others.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years and love of her life, Richard “Sonny” Hughes; children, Lisa Diane (Mark) Faulkenberg of Richmond and Robert Brian Hughes of Coldwater, Michigan; grandchildren, Alayna, Savanna, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Zoe and Blair; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Michael Hughes and parents.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we regret to inform you that services for Linda Lou Hughes will be private with Pastor John Walker officiating. Burial will be in Greens Fork South Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
