Lance Robert Rollf, age 67, of Williamsburg, Indiana, died Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.
Lance was born on September 22, 1953, in Richmond, Indiana, to Robert and JoAnn Richardson Rollf. He was a graduate of Fox Chapel High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Salem College in West Virginia. Lance proudly served in the U.S. Army for 16 years before being medically discharged. During his military career, Lance was a sergeant for over 15 years and received many medals and military awards. He appreciated and valued the Second Amendment. Lance enjoyed fishing and loved his huge family.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Chang Hwa Rollf; children, Samuel J. Rollf and Ellen A. Nicholson; four grandchildren; and sisters, Lynn, Candice, and Gabrielle Rollf.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Chloe Rollf, and parents.
A Celebration of Life for Lance Robert Rollf will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with military honors provided by the Wayne County Honor Guard.
