Kevin Joseph Golliher, 43, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 after a short illness. He was born on January 4, 1978 and raised in Modoc, IN. He graduated in 1997 from Union School Corporation where he competed in basketball and baseball, and formed life-long friendships. He was employed at IMI in Pendleton, IN.
Kevin was a kind, big-hearted man who loved his family. He was the best storyteller and had a laugh that could not be mistaken. He was a big kid (teddy bear) and lived life to the fullest. He loved doing anything outside and just messing around. Above all else, he loved his son Kye, who was his whole world. They were best friends and he loved him more than anything else. They enjoyed going to Reds games, fishing, and he liked coaching him in different sports.
Kevin left to cherish his memory, his son Kye Golliher (Natacha), mother Lorri (Jerry) York, sister Amber (Tracy) Raines, brother Dustin Golliher, grandfather Joseph Nunley, aunt Roxanna (Ronnie) Stomm, aunt Peggy (Bill) Groce, uncle William “Pete” Nunley (partner Rebecca), aunt Lynn Golliher Kibler, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Hazel Nunley, father David Golliher, paternal grandfather and grandmother Daniel & Carolyn Sue Golliher, and twin infant brothers Devon and David Golliher Jr.
It’s not how long the flower blooms, but how beautifully. Kevin was a beloved father, son, brother, cousin, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by so many. Until we meet again – We love you!
Visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Culberson Funeral Home in Hagerstown, IN. Services to follow at 1 PM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Pastor Mort Radford will officiate. Masks are required.
