Kenny Neal died suddenly in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 27th on the West side of Richmond, where he lived most of his life. His maternal grandmother, Gram, and his father, Kenneth Allen Neal I, preceded him in death. He is survived by his devoted and beloved mother, Joy Dalton, two adored daughters, Jami Neal and Kelli Cook (Casey), four loving siblings, Kim Lovins (Randy), Kerrigan Biscoe (Carlton d. 1989), Paula Shouse (Teddy), and Brandi Chapman (Michael), three grandsons (Lukas, Carter, Jackson), two granddaughters (Kinsley, Juniper), several nieces and nephews, and countless loyal friends.
Kenny valued personal freedom above all things and lived his life as he wanted to without apology. He lived by a strict moral code of his own invention, and all who met him found themselves entertained and enamored by his wit, charm, and generosity. Forever fit, he was an avid cyclist, worker, musician, dancer, and lover of all types of games. He lived and loved without fear, wearing his enormous heart on his sleeve, and fiercely defended all those he loved. He certainly could never be forgotten; he will live on in the hearts and minds of his loved ones, who will someday be reunited with him in heaven.
Kenny chose to be cremated and will be following a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. and a service from 10-11 a.m. on Good Friday, April 2nd at Community Family Funeral Home. We will gather for a celebration of his life at the YMI in Richmond directly following the service. Send online condolences to the family via the guestbook at www.communityfamilyfh.com
