Karen Sue Clampitt, 77, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Waters Edge Village in Muncie.
She was born in New Castle on July 18, 1944, to Ralph and Roberta (Hartley) McCoy and lived most of her life in the Hagerstown area. She was a graduate of Hagerstown High School and formerly active with 4-H and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include 2 children, Ronda Davis (Reggie) and Robert Cross; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a brother, Myron McCoy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Rick Cross, and 2 brothers, Neil McCoy and Gerald McCoy.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
