Joseph Evertt Weston, 70, of Richmond, passed away August 7, 2021, at Reid Health. He was born June 26, 1951, in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Joseph E. Weston and Tina Emery Rivers Weston and has lived here for the last 30 years.

He served as a Sergeant in the Air Force from 1974 to 1978 and National Guard from 1978-1980.

Joe was a Machinist, Auto Body Repairman, and a Fuel Specialist; his most favorite pastime was fishing and camping at Old Fall Creek and New Fall Creek in Lake Cumberland, Kentucky with his children.

He is survived by his four children Melissa Sue (Steve) Squires of Troy, Missouri, Joseph Allen (Tiffany) Weston of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, Robert Scott (Crystal) Weston of Corinth, Kentucky, Jennifer Ann Givens of Elkton, Kentucky,  three sisters Janice Ann York of Centerville, Mary Gurley of Madison, Virginia (Gary) Weilenman of Cambridge City, 21 grandchildren; David, Derek, Steven, Amanda, Aaron, Harley, Wesley, Ashlynd, Charity, Justice, Addison, Gemma, Keenan, Damon, Brenden, Kiersten, Jazlynn, Devin, Cameron, Caden, Riley, 3 great-grandchildren; Jose, Luke, Kaydence and one great-grandchild on the way. Several nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Shirley (James) Weston, two beloved sons Wade Everett Weston, Michael Joe Weston, Great Grandchild Everlynn Weston, three brothers Jasper Weston, Norman Joe Weston, Buddy Joe Weston, two brothers-in-law Tommy York, Dave Gurley.

Joseph accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago with Pastor Anson Perkins at Newtown Baptist Church in Monticello, Ky.
