Jeffrey Scott Jarrett, 57, of Hagerstown, died at his home on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
He was born in New Castle on September 11, 1963 to Roderic and Joann (Foust) Jarrett and was a life long resident of the Hagerstown area. Jeff served in the US Air Force for 9 years and retired from the US Postal Service. He was a member of American Legion Post 333. He was an avid bowler and golfer. He attended New Testament Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Jarrett; 4 children, Cole Jarrett, Chase Jarrett (Tory), Christopher Jarrett (Jillian) and Cassandra Jarrett; 8 grandchildren, Emma, Jagger, Sophia, Jeramiah, Foster, Madyx, Paxtyn and Hendryx; a sister Diane Moore.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Greg Jarrett; his maternal grandparents, Cleo Foust, Eugene Foust and Elizabeth Foust; his paternal grandparents, Cleo and Christine Jarrett.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 PM on Wednesday, January 14, at New Testament Church of Christ. Services will follow at 6 PM. Pastor Paul Gearhardt will officiate.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to help defray expenses.
