Jeffrey C. Jones, age 69, Richmond, died Sunday, November 7, 2021, at Reid Health.
Born August 15, 1952, in Connersville, Indiana, to Charlie and Delores Morgan Jones, Jeff lived in this community most of his life. He graduated from Connersville High School. Jeff worked in the construction industry. He was multi-talented, including being a champion pool player, and he loved playing chess. Jeff will be dearly missed by his family.
Survivors include his mother, Delores Jones of Richmond; sister, Beth Carrera of Richmond; and nephew, Jason, and great-nieces, Hannah and Kendall, who he was especially close to.
He was preceded in death by his father; brothers, Chris Jones and Michael Purcell; and grandparents.
Visitation for Jeffrey C. Jones will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery in Connersville.
