Janet K. Wagner, 66, of Muncie passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born December 16, 1954 in New Castle, Indiana, a daughter of the late William and Ann (Huckaby) McLaughlin.
Janet had been employed at The Star Press in Muncie for 35 years. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, jewelry making and spending time on her pontoon. Janet loved spending time with the 4 o’clock club at Big Shots Pub. She was a member of Whittier Lane Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her dog Simba.
Survivors include her son Mark Douthitt (Brenda Shields); granddaughter, Wesli (Dane) Kirchoff-Foster; grandsons, Braden Courtney and Chance Kimbler; siblings, Ruth (Don) Guffey and Pam Vetor; and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorie Welch and grandmother, Mattie Gray.
