James O. Webb, of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 15, 2021 at his residence. He was 89 and lived a full life. He was born on Nov. 9, 1931 to Ora and Mary Webb.

He married the love of his life, Ruby Caudle Webb in June of 1952. It has been his desire for almost 15 years to be with her again and he was reunited with her in Heaven on Monday.

James was a member of Locust Grove Church where he served as a deacon and served as secretary of Locust Grove Cemetery. He was a member of Milton #108 F&AM for over 50 years and was Past Master of the Lodge. He was a 32nd degree member of Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis. James worked for over 40 years as an engineer and was also one of the owners of Converto in Cambridge City, but he was always a farmer at heart. He enjoyed working on tractors, riding motorcycles and taking care of his cattle.

He is survived by a daughter, Pamela Webb, a son, Tim (Ann) Webb; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Webb, Josh (Natalie) Webb and Jennifer Webb; 2 great-grandchildren, Emma and Logan Driskill; nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Ruby F. (Caudle) Webb on August 18, 2006; a great-grandson, Conner Driskill and sister, Pauline Conner.

Friends may call from 10:30 AM on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021 until the start of a celebration of a life well lived at 11 AM at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel with Pastor Brian Mackie officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery.
