George Smith, 86, of Richmond, passed away December 6, 2021, at Reid Health after a long illness. He was born in Albany, Kentucky to Ed and Flo Smith and lived in this area most of his life.
George served in the Navy and retired from Wayne Works.
He is survived by his three children Mike Smith of Connersville, Jeff Smith of Richmond, Sherry Fox of Anderson, five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister.
Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 10th, 2021 at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home; private burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany, Kentucky.
