Gail Isaacs, 73, of Connersville, passed away on December 18, 2021 at her home surrounded by love, friends and family.
She was born on March 7, 1948, in Jackson County, Kentucky to Grover C. Cleavland and Hannah Isaacs. On October 31, 1964 in McKee, Kentucky she married Alvin D. Isaacs. They shared 52 years together before he passed on April 4, 2016.
Gail had worked in housekeeping at Fayette Regional Health and retired from housekeeping at Lincoln Centers in Connersville. She enjoyed sewing, horse races, bluegrass shows and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She will be missed by her daughter, Amanda Hamilton; sisters, Marilyn Baker and Barbara Flannery both of Kentucky; six grandchildren, Rebecca Parsley, Michael Burdge, Grace Isaacs, Ethan Isaacs, Ashley Marcum and Alvin Hamilton; seven great grandchildren, Hezekiah Marcum, Hunter Marcum, Hayden Marcum, Preston Hudson, Heaven Hudson, Landon Hudson and Waylon Hamilton; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son, Paul Dee Isaacs, three brothers, Orlan Isaacs, Otwa Isaacs and Jack Isaacs; and granddaughters, Tressa Ison and Melissa Marie Isaacs.
She was an amazing woman and fought to the end.
Funeral service will be held at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville on Tuesday December 28, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Laurel North Cemetery.
