Frances A. Jackson, age 87, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Reid Health.
Born February 25, 1934, in Richmond, Indiana, to Howard and Alma Richmond Wright, Frances was a life-long resident of this community. She lovingly took care of her home and family. Frances was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Richmond. She loved animals and enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori A. Gellinger of Richmond; son, Danny L. (Libby) Jackson of Richmond; grandchildren, Nikki Holbert (Randy), Amber Jackson, Anthony Gellinger, Brandi Jackson Gellinger, and Jason Gellinger; 20 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John C. Jackson, who died March 8, 2006; son, David W. Jackson; son-in-law, Harold Gellinger; parents; sister; and four brothers.
Visitation for Frances A. Jackson will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Curt Nies officiating. Burial will be in Earlham Cemetery.
