Flora Lynette Wright, 92, of Connersville, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Whitewater Commons Senior Living in Liberty, Indiana.
She was born June 25, 1929 in Jackson County, Kentucky to Frank B. and Eva Hurst Wilson.
On March 10, 1944, she married James C. Wright in McKee, Kentucky.
Along with her husband, Flora was a member of Connersville Baptist Temple.
She loved spending time with her family and cooking for them. In her leisure, she also enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie (Cindy) Wright and Terry (Diana) Wright, both of Connersville; three daughters, Sharon (Mike) George, Joyce (Dwayne) Jackson, and Debbie (Kenny) McHenry, all of Connersville; ten grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Linnie Spurlock and Beulah Hughes, both of Kentucky; and a brother, Hank Wilson, of Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James C. Wright; three sisters, Lois Spurlock, Patty Gabbard, and Irene Montgomery; and two grandchildren, Wayne Ervin and Chris Wright.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Joe Ferreira officiating. Burial will be at Everton Cemetery. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
