Edna D. Turner went to her heavenly home on June 24, 2021.
She was born in Richmond, IN, graduating from Richmond High School.
She and her husband, Howard, lived and farmed in the Williamsburg area where she was a Homemaker and Bookkeeper for the farm. In their early years, Edna often worked in the fields alongside Howard. She was an active mother for their seven children, choosing to fully support them in their varied activities. After semi-retirement, she and Howard traveled to many areas of the country, including trips to Alaska and the west coast. She was a member of St. Andrew’s and Holy Family Churches.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Howard Turner; her children Diana (Steve) Nall, Karen (Jim) Rohe, Jane (Larry) Selvidge, Howard A. Turner (fiancé Christina DeSantis Anderson), Mark Turner, Anna (Jim) Stuckey and Krista (Stuart) Mann; brothers John (Linda) DuVall, Melvin (Judy) DuVall, and Robert (Sue) DuVall; in-laws Jane Johnson, Rose Turner and Fred (Joyce) Turner.
Edna and Howard had 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren of which 2 grandchildren, Madyson and Mason Stuckey, preceded her in death.
Edna was also preceded in death by her parents, Viola Rieker Groves and Thurman Ketron.
A Liturgy of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, June 28, 2021, at Holy Family Church with Rev. Sengole Gnanaraj officiating; burial will be in St. Andrew’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
