Delbert Malicoat, 82, of Richmond, passed away on February 16, 2021, at Reid Health. He was born July 8, 1938, in Jackson Co., Kentucky to Carlos and Dorothy Day Malicoat and lived in this area most of his life.

He worked as a Lineman for RP&L and owned Malicoat Electric.

He was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church.

Delbert is survived by his six daughters Debbie (David) Wilson of Richmond, Brenda (Jimmy) Musselman of Richmond, Lisa (Mike) Fitzwater of Union City, Pamela (Bill) Lamott of Vermont, Cynthia (J. Allen) Manning of Williamsburg, Angela (Gary) Ozbun of Lynn; thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, one brother Dewey Malicoat of Richmond, one sister Vadis (Jim) Hill of Hollandsburg, Ohio, one aunt, several nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 49 years; Sondra who died in 2008, one brother Clifford Malicoat, one sister Laversa Crutcher.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Sengole Gnanaraj; burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
