Deborah Lee “Debby” (Johnson) Miller, age 70, of Richmond, IN, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Born on January 17, 1951 in Richmond, IN, daughter of the late, Thurman Delbert & Esther (Rose) Johnson.
Debby worked as a buyer for the drapery department of Knollanburg’s Department Store in Richmond, IN. Secretary for the Richmond Police Department for many years before retirement. Member of First Universalist Church in Eldorado, Ohio.
Preceded in death by her mother, Esther (Rose) Thompson in 2020; dad, Donald E. Thompson in 2019; father, Thurman Delbert Johnson in 1989; sister, Delberta O’Leary in 2008;
Survived by her children, Amanda (Robert) Bechtol, Megan (Terry) Robinson and Ryan Miller; six grandchildren, Alyssa (Cliff) Michael, Trey (Hannah) Beasley, Conner Miller, Michael Varvel, Christian Miller and Terrance Robinson; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Tia (Randy) Bowser and Sue (Mike) Whirley; brothers, Doug (Marie) Johnson, Kim (Beth) Thompson and David (Roberta) Johnson; uncle, Daniel Rose; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at First Universalist Church, 150 Monroe St., Eldorado, OH with Kathy Brawley officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M at the church. Inurnment will be held at Preble Memory Gardens in West Alexandria, OH at the convenience of the family at later date.
