Darlene E. Strawser

Darlene E. Strawser, age 78, of Eldorado, OH passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN. She was born April 12, 1943 in Richmond to the late Sherman and Mildred (Bennett) Padgett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Strawser in 1994; son Michael Yount in 2014; and brother Robert Padgett in 2005. She is survived by her grandchildren: Michael Yount (Chris Walker), Jack (Amy) Yount, Danielle Yount (Alle Hall), Zachary Tyler (Hannah) Yount and Ashley (Chris) Gibson; 6 great grandchildren: daughter-in-law Donna Yount; brother Sherman “Skip” Padgett (Becky Arthur); sisters Donna Upton, Nancy (Bob) Johnson and Sandra Duke (Jim Stockslager); and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 2:00 pm until time of memorial service at 3:00 pm at the Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Pastor Terry Campbell officiating. Interment will be at a later date at the family’s convenience at Twin Creek Cemetery in West Manchester.
