Bruce Edward Ullrich, age 75, of Richmond, Indiana, died Sunday, October 3, 2021, at home surrounded by his family after a long battle with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Bruce was born on May 22, 1946, in Lafayette, Indiana, to Forrest and Beverly Overman Ullrich. He moved to Wayne County, Indiana, in 1986 to work as a manager at Farm Bureau Insurance. Years later, Bruce forged into his own financial company and recently worked as a registered financial advisor for Royal Alliance Associates. Working with and helping clients was a joy and his ministry. Other passions in Bruce’s life were fishing, woodworking, and helping others in any manner that he could. Bruce was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was Dad, Grandpa, Papa, and Papaw to so many.

Bruce was a dedicated Christian and member of Greens Fork Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Nancy Kay Abbott Ullrich; son, Brian Ullrich of Lafayette; and several wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Additionally, Bruce will be missed, but not forgotten, by many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Scott A. Ullrich, and parents.

A special thanks goes out to Reid Hospice and the many friends who have been by Bruce’s side and all who have been in prayer.

A Celebration of Life for Bruce Edward Ullrich will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Greens Fork Christian Church, 116 East Pearl Street, Greens Fork with Evangelist Matt Fagan officiating.
