Brenda Sue Phenis (nee’) Baker, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on December 11th in Richmond, IN. She was born January 1, 1951, in Richmond, IN.
A 1969 graduate of Northeastern High School in Fountain City, IN, Brenda worked in various positions at Reid Hospital. Brenda loved bold colors and fashion enjoyed watching movies and was known for being an avid reader.
Brenda is survived by sons Joseph Phenis and Jason (Diamond) Phenis; grandchildren Kayla Koch, Nina (Chase) Phenis, Jason Eric Phenis, Evelyn Phenis, and Cash Stephens; great-grandchildren Kalli Koch, Vincent Koch, Everleigh Bailey, Amelia Bailey, and Alaya Linville all of Richmond, IN. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory sisters Geneva Ladd and Linda Baker and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by daughter Amy Phenis and brother Edward Baker.
The family welcomes extended family and friends to a calling from 4 PM-7 PM Sunday, December 19th at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home, 222 N. 10th St. Richmond, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, December 20th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Williamsburg Cemetery.
