Andrew Jack Lumpkin, 74, of Hagerstown, died on December 30, 2020 at Reid Health, Richmond.
He was born in New Castle on May 19, 1946 to Harold and Alta (Bland) Lumpkin and was a life long resident of the area.
Andy was a member of New Testament Church of Christ. He was a retired employee of Perfect Circle / Dana Corp. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Annual visits to the Darke County Fair were an important part of the summer.
On December 20, 1963 he married Leona Burrey and she survives. In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Robin Denhart (Scott); 2 grandchildren, Chelsea Krieg (Steven) and Rylee Denhart (fiancé Chris Wigand); 3 great-grandchildren, Nolan Krieg, Grey Krieg and Cora Krieg; 3 siblings, Jim Lumpkin (Carol), Patty Oldaker and Janet Heaston (Charles).
A graveside memorial services in West Lawn Cemetery will be on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Paul Gearhardt will officiate.
