Timothy L. “Tim” Hamby, age 50, a New Castle resident passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at his residence following a long illness.
He was born June 27, 1970 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of Charles and the late Diane Lutes Hamby. He was a graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and attended grade school in Knightstown. He had resided in New Castle most of his life except for seven years in Port Charlotte, Florida. Tim had worked for Henry County Glass and Mirror since 2011. He loved family activities, the outdoors, scuba diving, fishing, hunting, and working with model airplanes.
Left to cherish his loving memory include a daughter, McCallah Hamby and a son, Austin, Hamby, both of New Castle; his father, Charles Hamby, New Castle; special friend, Michelle Denney, New Castle; two brothers, Stanley Eugene (wife, Tammy) Hamby, Grant City, Indiana, Charles Stanley (wife, Rachel) of New Castle; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; four honorary grandchildren, Haidyn Fox, Creigh Hanson, Taitum and Jensen Lane.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Hamby; maternal grandparents, Lathe and Wanda Littleton; paternal grandparents, Charles T. and Edriss Hamby.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2020 at Macer-Hall-Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home, 2011 East Broad Street.
