Michael Evan Taylor, age 58, a resident of Indianapolis, formerly of New Castle, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born August 6, 1961 in Henry County, Indiana, a son of the late Gerald Paul and Norma Fisher Taylor.
Mr. Taylor was a 1979 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School and attended Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana. He had worked several years for Roto Rooter Plumbing. He enjoyed family activities, music, especially rock-n-roll and was an excellent guitar player. He was a member of several rock-n-roll bands including, “Night Shift.” He was also an excellent artist.
Left to cherish his loving memory include his wife, Elizabeth Ann Connorly Taylor; one step-son, David Scott (wife, Jamie) Blevins of Greenfield, Indiana; one step-daughter, Vashti Blevins of Indianapolis, Indiana; three step-grandchildren, Dakson Taylor Blevins, Tianna Libeth Holder, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Christian Taylor Blevins of New Castle; one sister, Cathy (husband, Joe) Ress, Cincinnati, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews, including Brian and James Bray.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Macer-Hall-Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home-600 South Main Street Chapel.
