Mark Allen Holthouse, 65, of Richmond Indiana passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday August 16, 2020. Mark was a beloved son, brother, father grandfather, and uncle. He was also a life-long resident of Richmond IN.

Mark traveled all over North America on his motorcycle for several years after college. He was a simple man who did not require anything that nature did not provide. He was a talented wood worker and a man of many trades. Marks passions were for old country music, the outdoors, and a good beer. He cherished his daughters and grandchildren and gave his heart and soul to his family. Mark also spent his days caring for his mother.

Mark is survived by his mother Marilyn Holthouse, his daughters Anji Holthouse and Amy Kern, brothers Steve, Dan (Debbie) and Jerry (Carol) Holthouse and grandchildren Madi Holthouse and Noa Dannaker. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Siegfried (Bud) Holthouse

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday September 5, 2020 at 3:00 P.M., at the Cope Environmental Center located at 1730 Airport Rd, Centerville IN 47330. All friends and family are invited to attend. There will be a display of Mark’s wood projects for sale for anyone who would be interested in purchasing his talented work. There will also be a donation box set up for anyone who would like to help with costs.
